Your day begins with intentional yoga and meditation, supported by thoughtful journaling to awaken your inner voice. From there, the day is yours to explore the beauty of Yelapa, hike to a hidden waterfall, swim in the sea, or simply do nothing at all.
As the sun sets, you’ll be guided through evening rituals—CacaoCeremony, Somatic Breathwork, and Sound Healing—offering space for deep release, reflection, and renewal.
Each day you’ll enjoy traditional meals prepared by our private chef Yanet and experience Ballet Folklórico, a powerful celebration of culture and storytelling through movement.

Join us in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico as we embark on a 7-day writing journey with best-selling author Barbara Fagan. Coordinated by Journeys of the Heart, this is your chance to draw inspiration from the rich traditions of Día de los Muertos in Mexico, where it all began.

Over five inspiring days, you’ll start each morning with a traditional Mexican breakfast and a brief intention-setting meditation before diving into professionally led writing sessions.
Dinner will be provided on five nights, with one evening free to explore San Miguel’s vibrant culinary scene. One day will be dedicated to a sensory walking tour, immersing you in the city’s sights, sounds, and flavors. You’ll also have free time throughout the week to explore San Miguel at your own pace.
Back at the villa, you’ll take part in a traditional altar creation ceremony led by Leslie, honoring your ancestors and drawing inspiration from the spirits of Día de los Muertos.
On the final day, you’ll share your work in a supportive circle, celebrating your creative journey. If publishing is your goal, Barbara will guide you through the process, helping you bring your words to the world.

I'll be leading a group headed to Campagna (just outside of Rome) for a 7 day/6 night Cooking Retreat! I am so excited about this journey to explore and enjoy Italy while learning about the local cuisine and how to master it.
Do you have to love cooking? Absolutely not. Do you have to know how to cook? Again, no. All you need is curiosity and a healthy appetite!
